Aqsa Alpsankhyank Education and Welfare Society has been focusing on nationwide skill development and sustainable livelihood and has gained considerable expertise in this domain.
Aqsa Alpsankhyank Education and Welfare Society - Academy for Skills (Skill Development Center) launched in 2014 was the first successful implementation. Since its inception, we have trained more than 400 under-privileged youth with 70% placement.
At present, we run 61 Skill Development Centers across the Maharashtra State offering vocational training in 20 skills for youth in the age group of 18 to 38 years.
Seventy percent of India's population lives in rural areas and enabling livelihood of rural population is vital for their participation in the growth of the country. In line with this need, Aqsa Alpsankhyank Education and Welfare Society has developed its rural skill development program based on experience gained from our Rural Self Employment Training Institutes.
2000 student were provided education during the year and there was an overall increase of 70% from last year in enrollment at Skill India Mission centers.
250 of the total trained students got placed in first attempt of the recruitment drive in more than 26 reputed brands.
Appreciating that women constitute fifty percentage of the demographic dividend and deserve all respect, Aqsa strives to create opportunities for their gainful employment whereby women as well the society progresses.
